The Medrano Collection is an ode to the characters, bohemians and the artists that lived and breathed Parisian life through the famous doors of Cirque, during the early 1900s.Reflecting the Rose Period in particular with use of vibrant coloured silks; coral red, mustard gold, amber, emerald green and azzure blue.

By utilising the background colour in this way, the transparency and depth is brought through light layering of colours on each piece.

I wanted to depict the essence of performance,movement and aesthetics of these extraordinary trapeze and acrobatic talents in a composition studies that are set in modern Circus world.
